The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange ‘The Head, Heart and Hands for Religion’ took place in Austria from 24 to 29 April 2025. The programme also included workshops and the HardTopics dialogue app. The 45 young people came from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany and Austria and focused mainly on the different religions and cultures of Europe, but other difficult topics were also addressed while working with the app. Beforehand, the dialogue guidelines were considered in order to promote constructive and deep dialogue.
The young people’s feedback on the dialogues with their opponents was very positive. Some were surprised that they were able to communicate well about their differences and also learnt about new perspectives. The organisation has decided that the workshops and app will be included in all future youth exchanges.
