On April 16, 2024, we gathered in Ljubljana for the European Dilemmas event — an unforgettable journey through the heart of European values and dilemmas, set against the backdrop of the upcoming European elections.
Through a Value Auction, we explored different paths shaping Europe’s future. Each group of young participants crafted its own vision of leadership, grounded in the values they chose — and fiercely defended them at the Marketplace of Values. Along the way, we also paused to reflect on social polarization, recognizing how crucial open dialogue and respect for diverse perspectives are to building a better shared future.
With the help of the “Political Opponents Speed Dating” app, developed by the Social Academy, we stepped beyond division and into dialogue. After completing a short quiz on key European dilemmas, the app matched us into pairs based on our opinions.
The result? Deep, diverse conversations that lasted well into the evening!
