The Erasmus+ youth exchange “The Spirit of Religions” took place in Austria from 20 to 27 April 2024. The programme also included workshops and the HardTopics dialogue app. The 60 young people, who came from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria, mainly focussed on the different religions and cultures of Europe during this week, although other difficult topics were also addressed while working with the app. In order to promote deep and meaningful dialogue, the dialogue guidelines were considered beforehand.
The young people rated the dialogues with their opponents very positively. Most of them were pleased that they were able to talk about their differences of opinion so well and also learnt about new perspectives.
